My fourth-grade son started tutoring at Sylvan in June 2025 after falling behind academically and testing at a first-grade reading level. After consistent sessions through December, he recently reassessed right at grade level! We are beyond grateful—not only for his academic progress, but for the huge boost in confidence. He loved all the staff, and everyone was wonderful to work with, especially the director, Heather, whose consistent check-ins meant so much. The token and prize system kept him motivated and engaged. We first started sending our two kids to Sylvan during the pandemic to make sure they stayed on track despite all the disruptions to learning. The customized learning plans were invaluable in this regard. Our son has continued his lessons as enrichment and because he loves it!

We first reached out to Sylvan Learning Center of Novi nine years ago with the aim of strengthening our daughter's reading skills. We have had an amazing experience here. My son was barely reading at the end of kindergarten and needed help. He is now in 2nd grade and is reading past his ggrade level. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff who helped my son. Their dedication to helping kids is immeasurable.

My Son has been going here since the pandemic. He goes twice a week. His hard work has brought him up three grade levels!! It’s help build his confidence. Now he loves to read at home! He is getting As now in almost ever class!
