Meet Our Team

As Center Director and Owner, Rachelle is responsible for welcoming in all our families for Sylvan of Port St. Lucie. A former St. Lucie County and Palm Beach County Educator for 25 years, Rachelle chose a career in the tutoring business because of the need in our county for personalized tutoring.  She studied at Florida Atlantic College and Arkansas State University where she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education and a Specialist Degree in K-12 Educational Leadership. When Rachelle isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her traveling the world with her husband or spending time with her adult children and their spouses.

Marcy is an amazing educator at Florida Virtual School. She has special expertise in Reading and writing of second language learners and tutoring. Marcy is super patient, and has a great ability to relate to kids. She studied at Florida Atlantic University and has her BA in Elementary Education. When Marcy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family.

Mrs. Jodi brings more than 32 years of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for helping children learn and grow. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1985 and continued her education at several respected institutions, earning an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lynn University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with Teacher Certification from Pine Manor College, and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Nova Southeastern University.

Known for her caring and supportive approach, Mrs. Jodi is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where students can build confidence and succeed academically. Outside of teaching, she has been happily married for 25 years and is the proud mother of three children.
