Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Kendall know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores. We selectively choose tutors who know local curriculum and can link Sylvan lessons to what’s being taught in school.

David Ciriaco
Center Director
As Center Director, David leads the sales and operations for Sylvan of West Kendall . A former Sales Manager, David chose a career in the tutoring business because he wants to see our youth grow academically. He studied at Delaware Valley University. When David isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him playing sports.
Donna Deleon
Tutor / Test Administrator
Donna De Leon has worked at Sylvan of Kendall, in Miami, FL since 2010. She is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she obtained a degree in Deaf Education and Early Childhood Education. Donna has been a kindergarten teacher for over 33 years in Dade-County Public Schools. Donna has 10+ years of tutoring experience, working as an instructor for Sylvan. She enjoys teaching a variety of subject areas, including sign language. In her free time, Donna enjoys working with the youth in her community and within her church.
Margaret Masri
Tutor
Margaret Masri has worked at Sylvan of Kendall in Miami, FL since 2014. She is a graduate of Florida International University and University of Miami, where she obtained a degree in BS in Education and a BA. Previous to Sylvan Learning of West Kendall, Margaret was a teacher in Homestead and still is for the new school year. She enjoys teaching a variety of subject areas, including reading and art. In her free time, Margaret enjoys cooking for her family and spending time with her nieces and nephew.
Latrisha Rowe
Tutor
Latrisha is a Reading, Writing and Math teacher at Sylvan Learning in Kendall. Latrisha has a gift for working with kids and has experience teaching Middle School Reading. While Latrisha has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in Reading/English tutoring. She studied at MDC and Howard University and holds a degree in English. While Latrisha was in school, she loved pep rallies and football games. When Lartrisha isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her 5 siblings and 2 dogs – Nala and Angelina.
