Meet the Napa Valley team

Harleen has led Sylvan Learning to thrive through her passion for education, student success, and community impact. Raised in Punjab, India, and later relocating to San Jose, California, Harleen developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Educational Studies (Early Childhood Education) and an Associate's degree in Liberal Studies. With more than a decade of experience in education, Harleen is dedicated to helping students reach their full academic potential. Her expertise allows her to develop personalized learning strategies that meet each child's unique needs and learning style. As the Executive Director of Sylvan Learning Centers serving Walnut Creek, Napa, Fairfield, and Vacaville, Harleen is committed to creating positive educational experiences that build confidence, inspire growth, and support lifelong success. When she is not at Sylvan, Harleen enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, staying active through fitness and yoga, caring for her dog and cat, nurturing her plant collection, and expressing her creativity through coloring and making special memories with loved ones. Responsible for overseeing student programs and daily center operations, supporting teachers and staff, building strong relationships with families, monitoring student success, and helping achieve enrollment, retention, and overall center goals.

Melissa is a reading, math and study skills instructor with a gift for working with kids. While Melissa has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in working with our middle school study skills and math students. She studied at Dominican University and earned a degree in Liberal Studies and Education. When Melissa isn't at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading and enjoying life!

Molly has been a valuable team member at Sylvan of Napa Valley for the past 4 years. She is a graduate of San Francisco State, where she obtained a Master's degree in Language and Literacy. Molly is also a teacher in the Napa Unified School District. She enjoys tutoring a variety of subject areas, including SylvanSync Reading and Math, and Sylvan Beginning Reading. She also works with many of our high school students taking Spanish. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and hiking.
