Here to help local students get the support they need.
Sylvan of Mid-South Calgary has been in the same area of the city for more than 40 years, moving locations as the needs of the centre and community have changed. We were based in Midnapore, but moved to our current location at the Fish Creek Plaza and needed to change our name. Mid-South best reflects our location, and proximity to two other locations in the city!
We love to help local students get the support that the needs to catch up, keep up, and get ahead in school, and our team of certified teachers look forward to making a difference every day. We have watched some students grow up with us over the years, and become successful readers, mathematicians, and writers! There's nothing more satisfying than when our students graduate from their programs, and eventually high school!
We look forward to continuing to serve the Mid-South Calgary area for many more years to come, and if you spot us at a community event, please stop by and say hello!

The staff are very helpful and accommodating with our schedules. We have seen great progress in her maths, reading, writing and overall confidence even though she is only working on math. Tutoring at Sylvan Learning of Mid-South Calgary runs from $52 to $65 per session, depending on how many sessions a week you book and the membership length. The lowest rate is $52 per session at 4 sessions a week on a 12-month minimum membership, and 2 sessions a week month-to-month is $65 per session. There is a one-time registration fee of $199. A single session is $65 per hour with no membership required. Rates are set by this Center.
