This is our second time working with Sylvan. Our first session was for reading, now we’re attending for language arts. My son loves his virtual lessons with his instructors. We enrolled our son at Sylvan Learning Center in Alexandria when he was 14 years old. As a new English learner, he was significantly behind in both English and Math, and we weren't sure where to turn. Both of my boys have benefitted tremendously from attending Sylvan tutoring. My 10th grader, sees Mr. Steven for tutoring in Honors Chemistry and Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry and my 7th grader sees him for help with Pre-Algebra. Both boys say that Mr. Steven teaches them the concepts in a way they can understand. They believe there is nothing he cannot do! Sylvan has been wonderful with accommodating schedule changes as the boys navigate different sports and activities throughout the year.

I enrolled my son is Sylvan to help get him prepared for homeschooling so he's prepared to grasp basic concepts mainly around reading. We've seen great improvement since he started three months ago. He loves attending, the teachers and has even formed friendships. Most importantly he's learning and having fun at the same time.

Sylvan has been such a blessing to our family. I currently have my niece enrolled and her mom and school have seen such an improvement.
