We had a great experience with Sylvan and recommend them highly. All of the teachers and staff are excellent. But a few tips for parents that I think might help. 1) Yes, it's an investment. But your kids are both it. Sylvan can work with you on how many days a week/month though depending on what you are looking for in terms of tutoring. Unfortunately, it's not free. 2) Ohio sometimes offers an ACE scholarship to help with the costs once each school year. If you haven't heard about it Google it and apply if you can. Tutoring at Sylvan Learning of Toledo runs from $42 to $52 per session, depending on how many sessions a week you book and the membership length. The lowest rate is $42 per session at 4 sessions a week on a 12-month minimum membership, and 2 sessions a week month-to-month is $52 per session. There is a one-time registration fee of $99. A single session is $55 per hour with no membership required. Rates are set by this Center.
