My fifth grade grandson had a great year at Sylvan! For starters, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and fun! All of the teachers made him feel comfortable and motivated. We wanted him to get a better grasp of fractions and decimals as he progressed in math, and that focus produced real results. His school assessments improved significantly, and he gained confidence as the year progressed. We are looking forward to continuing with Sylvan this year.

My son started going to Sylvan Learning of Wilton after we moved to a new school district after the Covid 19 restrictions during his kindergarten and 1st grade years left him as a "non reader" as a 2nd grader. I had fought for help for him at his new school and received nothing. He was pretty discouraged by the time I took him to Sylvan. What a gem! We were here for the summer and wanted our son to have some exposure to the SAT before he starts 11th grade. We decided to focus just on the ELA section of the test. He found the course extremely useful. He said the teaching was clear and organized. He now knows which portion of the reading test he needs to focus on. My son started tutoring at the end of last year. He was confused and nervous before his geometry regents test. After a few weeks at sylvan he conquered his regents and came out of the testing smiling. Thank you for give him his confidence back. This is an amazing place. My little one is shy and they welcomed her with open arms. Smaller settings, and one on one has improved my daughter's social anxiety as well as her confidence. She is able to read without help and her math skills have improved as well. Wilton Sylvan has been a game changer for our 7 yr old in reading and writing. The transformation in just 6-9 months has put him back on grade level and changed his whole outlook on school. I would encourage anyone needing help with a student to look at Audrey and her team.

*Update* We started our Slyvan Learning journey in February of 2023 with weekly sessions that concluded in October, 2023. Our son had a goal of mastering 54 skills at Slyvan. He completed his program with 91 skills completed! During his first school meeting for the 2023-2024 school year we were told that he is now at reading level for his grade! His confidence has increased to the point that he recently offered to help his sister with her homework! This week he brought home a math test review packet to study for an upcoming test. Sylvan has been great for my son. He has been struggling with math in school for a while. I tried a couple private tutors, but that didn't seem to have any benefit. Sylvan's assessments identify his weak spots to target. Their small group approach and multiple teaching strategies have worked well with my son. The teaching staff is friendly and approachable.
