As Owner and Center Director of Sylvan Learning of Edison, Rick oversees all center operations to ensure students receive the highest level of academic support. Formerly an executive in data analytics, he earned an MBA in Information Systems and brought a passion for problem-solving to education. Inspired to make a direct impact on students’ lives, Rick opened Sylvan of Edison to help kids build skills and confidence. Outside of Sylvan, he enjoys cycling, traveling, and exploring local food spots.
As a Sylvan Director, Rachel manages the social media and public relations for Sylvan of Edison. A former Hospitality and Event Planner, Rachel chose a career in the tutoring business because Sylvan helped Rachel during her school career and gave her a love of learning! Rachel studied Hospitality Management at Temple University. When Rachel isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family.
Nadia oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Edison. A former board-certified Behavior Analyst in Newark, Nadia brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Edison. She graduated from Endicott College. When Nadia isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her baking and walking her dog.
