Your child has what it takes. We’ll help them show it.

We absolutely love Sylvan Learning Center! Both of my sons look forward to every session and always tell me they wish Sylvan was an all-day school; that’s how much they enjoy being there. My older son attends for math enrichment because he loves being challenged, while my younger son goes to strengthen his math and reading skills. The instructors are incredibly patient, caring, and take the time to explain things until they truly understand. I really appreciate how they tailor their approach to each child’s individual needs. It’s such a positive, encouraging environment, and I’m grateful for…

Sylvan of Garrett County is absolutely fantastic! Our daughter participated in their SAT Prep Course and had a wonderful experience. The tutors were experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. Katelyn, the center's Director, was wonderful to work with - she helped us choose the most cost effective program options and was super flexible with meeting every request we made throughout the program (including multiple schedule change requests, etc.). Our daughter's score improved greatly after taking the course. We couldn't be happier with our experience and will definitely be taking advantage of this…

Accommodating, helpful, understanding and totally tailored to your child's needs. Would definitely ask for our instructor again and utilize the company

Tutoring my daughter, and she really enjoys going!!! Everyone who works there is amazing

So very happy we have this resource in Garrett County! Our son has made great progress in reading in the six months he's been attending Sylvan. I've been especially appreciative of their willingness to be flexible with our schedule as we move in and out of sports seasons. Their summer camp offerings are also impressive and we hope to take advantage of those this year. High fives to Katelyn and Suzan for putting together such a space for our kiddos!

Sylvan of Garrett County is incrdible! Highly recommend them for SAT prep, they were an awesome resource for my kids!

As a single mom/ disabled Veteran I was admittedly nervous about spending so much money on a company I knew nothing about. Sylvan's incredible group of mentors and teachers has surpassed my expectations. My son is improving and I get constant feedback, not just in the online account but in person from the people working with him. Sylvan worked to pair my son (who is very distracted and hardheaded) with a mentor that would drive him to do better. When my son was out of school for some time, the Sylvan team stepped up where the school was seriously failing. Most of all, I would have to say my s…

Our daughter was really struggling with math, and as a homeschooling mom, I needed help. I reached out to Sylvan and from the first moment, the staff has been nothing but helpful and accommodating. We quickly got matched with a phenomenally patient and very knowledgeable math tutor. He not only filled in some gaps, but also was happy to work with her curriculum. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Can't say enough great things about Sylvan in McHenry
