Dina Drakopoulou
Center Director
Dina brings over 10 years of experience as an elementary, middle school, and high school math teacher as well as her degree in Business Administration from Saint Xavier University.
Chelita O'neal
Educational Operations Assistant
Chelita oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Oak Lawn. Chelita has been a Sylvan employee since December 2019, and brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Oak Lawn. She graduated from American College of Education with a Masters of Educational Leadership. When Chelita is not at Sylvan, you’ll find her coaching /mentoring new teachers and spending time with friends.
Lydia Davenport
Tutor
Lydia has a Masters in Education and has been teaching for over 15 years. She enjoys working at Sylvan of Evergreen Park because of the professionalism and positive environment and has been with us since 2007. Lydia has six grandchildren and loves spending time with them! She also enjoys teaching, cooking, and gardening in her spare time.
Christine Pollard
Tutor
I graduated from St.Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international Studies and Masters Degree in Education. I taught history for 28 years at Mother McAuley High School and retired in 2016. My leisure time consists of reading, taking four-mile walks, or tending to the crops in my garden.
