My child had his first lesson yesterday. He is usually apprehensive about reading aloud to new people, but somehow they made him feel comfortable enough to read on the very first day. When the lesson ended, his confidence was through the roof. On the way home he said, "I am so lucky, I met the best teacher today!" As a parent, I am grateful for such a positive experience and look forward to future lessons. I am a student here prepping for my SAT as a junior and it has been so helpful. I’ve gone up almost 2000 points since my first SAT practice. My scholar has been attending Sylvan Learning for almost two years now. The tutors there are very patient and truly seem to love working with the scholars. Sylvan has been my best experience ever! My son happened to have anxiety attacks due to reading comprehension and hated reading. All the team had the patience to work with Matthias and transformed his world! We love going to Sylvan Learning Center! They care about each of their students, know them by name and really work with families to help children succeed. We’ve seen a great level of improvement from our child who’s been going there for about 2 years. We plan to stay with them and look forward to our seeing our student’s continued academic growth.

I highly recommend Sylvan Tutoring Services!!!!!!! My son, who's in 3rd grade started attending Sylvan Learning in Oct of 2023. He was struggling with reading (phonics). Sylvan gave my son an assessment test, he test at a 2 grade entry level. I had a meeting with Mr. Michael (director) to go over my child's needs. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. About 24 sessions into the program my son test at 3rd grade entry level. What a great team! Our son benefited greatly from attending Sylvan primarily for reading and writing post quarantine to recover some learning loss from e-learning. He was able to progress well above grade level in some areas! We resumed sessions about a year later until recently primarily for writing help. Our son was able to gain admittance to a gifted and talented camp with the generous support of the Director and staff. They have been great in helping my sister with her GED. All teachers have been able to explain the concepts well, and the director was able to create a personalized plan and utilize the practice book we bought her to guide the practice along. Overall I’m very satisfied.
