Allen Peoples

Center Director / Owner

Allen began teaching at Sylvan of Lone Tree in 2022. Originally his plan was to ease back into teaching after spending the previous 10 years working as a risk analyst. Before that Allen was a former high school geometry teacher.   Allen loved tutoring at Sylvan so much that he and his wife took ownership of the Lone Tree center in 2024. He has a Bachelor of Mathematics from Metropolitan State University.  When Allen isn’t at Sylvan, you will find him reading, running and spending time with family.

Pam O'Connor

Director of Education

Pam joins Sylvan with an extensive career in education. She received her B.S and M.Ed in Elementary Education and Statistical Analysis from the University of Utah, and her Endorsement as an Elementary School Principal from the University of Virginia. Pam has worked as a classroom teacher, elementary school principal, instructional coach, and colleague mentor. She brings wonderful knowledge of curriculum development and learning strategies, along with a passion for individualized instruction. When not at Sylvan, you may find Pam enjoying her creative talents in needlework, or attending one of her grandson’s hockey games.

Zoe Noble

Instructor

Zoe Noble is a graduate of Montana State University with a B.S. in Physics. She served as a Research Assistant in Quantum Computing research. She currently also works with “Science -Matters”, an afterschool program that fosters knowledge and interest in the sciences. At Sylvan, Zoe brings her energy and vast knowledge to all of our programs from Early Literacy, SAT Prep, to upper level math and science support. Her creative joy and multiple learning strategies have strong impact on student progress. She is a wonderful confidence builder!
When not at Sylvan, Zoe loves reading and spending time with ·her friends. We are so thankful for Zoe’s impact on· our Lone Tree Team.

Alena is a graduate of University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in English and a History minor.  She has experience as a published writer, marketing intern and educator.

Her experience includes working with all ages of children! We are delighted with the skills Alena brings to the tutoring table.

Alena’s heart fits right into our Sylvan Lone Tree culture as she says she has a “passion for helping others”  When not at Sylvan, Alena fills her time with the arts – writing, painting, or playing saxophone in the Highlands Ranch Community Band!

Madison McCoy

Tutor

Madison McCoy is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She was the recipient of the prestigious Daniel’s Fund Scholarship awarded for “excellence in education and those that demonstrate their ambition to lead successful lives of character and service.” She taught fifth grade in Phoenix schools where she also enjoyed coaching the “Girls on the Run” program. Moving back home to Colorado, we are privileged that Madison chose Sylvan. At Sylvan, Madison tutors Early Literacy, elementary Reading Essentials, elementary Math Essentials, Sylvan Writing, and SAT Verbal Prep. Madison brings lots of joy and smiles to the table in addition to great insight into. individual learning plans and curriculum development,
When not at Sylvan, Madison enjoys skiing, hiking and reading. What a joy to have Madison on our Lone Tree Team!

Connor White

Tutor

Connor White has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Denver. He will continue his education towards a PhD in Neurodigenerative Disease and research. At Sylvan, Connor greatly enjoys the diversity of our students and is gifted at evaluating the most effective individualized learning strategies for each student. His passion for education is seen in his focused and creative content delivery. Connor tutors Reading and Math Essentials at all grade levels and also upper level math and science support as well as SAT Prep. When not at Sylvan, you might find Connor in a variety of places! He is a certified EMT, and also has lead roles in community musical theater ! We are delighted to have all of Connor’s talents as part of our Lone Tree Team.
