My daughter has had an amazing experience at the El Cerrito Sylvan Center. We are now returning to Sylvan to augment her studies in Math and English. In the past, she was enrolled in the writing program where she learned the mechanics of writing different types of papers (informative, persuasive, narrative, and descriptive). The writing program also helped her with her grammar, sentence structure, and composition. The teachers and staff are spectacular. Tutoring at Sylvan Learning of El Cerrito runs from $60 to $75 per session, depending on how many sessions a week you book and the membership length. The lowest rate is $60 per session at 4 sessions a week on a 12-month minimum membership, and 2 sessions a week month-to-month is $75 per session. There is a one-time registration fee of $199. A single session is $75 per hour with no membership required. Rates are set by this Center.
