Our tutors and staff in Corona/Norco consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Corona/Norco know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores. We selectively choose tutors who know local curriculum and can link Sylvan lessons to what’s being taught in school.

Kulvinder Griffin received her Bachelor of Arts and Teaching Credential at Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota. She taught grades three through five before becoming a Reading Recovery teacher. Kulvinder has been with Sylvan for over fifteen years in the positions of Teacher, Test Administrator, Director of Education and Center Director in the Diamond Bar, Chino Hills, Claremont, Glendora and Chino centers. As the new owner of the Corona Center, Kulvinder is very excited to work with the students, parents, and the community. When not working, you will find Kulvinder trying to keep up with her two young sons Brycen and Shane.
Director of Education
Lauren received her Bachelor’s degree in General Education from the University of Southern California. She has worked with Sylvan for almost 10 years now, starting as a Teacher and then as Director of Education. She enjoys getting to know the families and students, and supporting their growth. When Lauren isn’t at Sylvan, she’s trying to keep up with her two young daughters.
Alyssa is currently working on receiving a degree in Psychology and Sociology at Riverside Community College. She has been working at Sylvan for over 10 months, and enjoys interacting and helping our students grow. When Alyssa is not at Sylvan, she enjoys going to the beach, playing with her dog, and hanging out with her family and friends.
Peace received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside. She specializes in our math, reading and SAT Math programs. Peace is passionate about helping students grow and overcome their learning obstacles. When Peace isn’t at Sylvan, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.
Tiffany earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She believes that learning doesn’t stop outside the classroom and enjoys helping students through challenging problems. When she’s not at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading, playing with her dog, or exploring the great outdoors!
Samantha is currently working on her associate’s degree in Social and Behavioral Studies at Norco College and will then pursue her bachelor’s degree in Education, Society, and Human Development at UC Riverside. She has worked with Sylvan since 2022 and enjoys helping students with reading the most. When Samantha isn’t at Sylvan, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
