Our tutors and staff in Glendale consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Glendale know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores. We selectively choose tutors who know local curriculum and can link Sylvan lessons to what’s being taught in school.

Victoria Sherrard
Director
Victoria has been with Sylvan since 1993. She loves meeting new families and helping them find solutions to their academic challenges.
Ms. Tiffany
Teacher
Director
Tiffany holds a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics from Grand Canyon University. She has been with Sylvan Learning since 2014, where she has served in a variety of roles including tutor, lead instructor, and center manager, in addition to teaching mathematics to students in grades 6–12. In May 2024, Tiffany joined the Sylvan Glendale team full-time as Director of Education. She is passionate about creating meaningful and rewarding learning experiences for students and their families. Outside of Sylvan, Tiffany enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and pets.
Ms. Erin

My name is Ms. Erin! I have been working with Sylvan since 2005 and have been in the field of education since 2002. I have a background in Elementary Education and Special Education from NAU. I love helping students reach their true potential whether it is in math, reading, writing, study skills, college prep, or foundational reading skills! In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, creative writing, and diamond painting.
Ms. Annette

My name is Ms. Annette and I have been with Sylvan since 2015! I graduated from ASU with a degree in Education. I have been working in education for the past 20 years and I enjoy helping students learn to read. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, baking, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. Here at Sylvan I love helping students strengthen their reading skills, their writing skills, and reaching their highest potential!
Mr. Vasu
Math Teacher
My name is Mr. Vasu and I have been with Sylvan since 2018. My degree is in Mathematics and Physics which I used previously when I worked as a Hospital-Nuclear Technician. Here at Sylvan, I enjoy helping students find success with higher level math!

My name is Ms. Vicky, and I have been with Sylvan Learning since 2024! I was a teacher once upon a time in the classroom. I have my master’s in Education and have always loved teaching. Here at Sylvan, I love it when I can help students to reach that “AHA” moment! In my spare time I enjoy gardening and attending sporting events that my grandkids participate in.

My name is Mr. Creighton and I have been with Sylvan since August of 2024. I graduated from Embry-Riddle with a degree in Software Engineering. I have been working in education for the past 2 years and I enjoy helping students reach new potentials! In my spare time I enjoy studying and learning more about history.

My name is Mr. Michael and I have been with sylvan since October of 2024. I graduated from NAU with a degree in English. I have been working in education for the past 15+ years and enjoy helping students develop strong and clear writing skills. In my spare time I enjoy reading!
Ms. Rebecka

My name is Ms. Rebecka, and I have been with Sylvan since September of 2024. I am currently working on obtaining my degree in Education and have been working in the field for 3+ years. Here at Sylvan, I enjoy engaging with students, fostering creativity, and helping students to bridge their learning gaps! In my free time I love writing, musical theater, and studying psychology!

My name is Ms. Alfreda and I have been with Sylvan in 2024. I graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Education. I have been in the field of education for the past 25+ years and I can honestly say that teaching is something I enjoy greatly! In my spare time, I enjoy being with my friends and family. Here at Sylvan, I love helping students learn to read and make growth!

My name is Ms. Patty and I have been with Sylvan since 2026. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Special Education. I have been in field of education for the past 30 years and I enjoy helping students build core skills. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, swimming, writing, traveling and my 2 fur babies!

My name is Ms. Katie and I have been with Sylvan since January of 2026. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have been working in the field of education for the past 4 years and I enjoy helping students in any way I can! In my spare time I enjoy traveling!

My name is Ms. Janet and I joined the Sylvan Glendale team in March of 2026. I graduated from Arizona State University in 1990 and have been working in education ever since! In my spare time I like to pursue creative endeavors such as creative writing and fine arts. I also love spending time with my wonderful husband and our 4 cats! I love helping students reach their educational goals!

My name is Ms. Dacey and I have been with Sylvan since July of 2025. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Elementary Education for grades K-8 and have been working in education for the past 5 years. I enjoy teaching students and helping them succeed in every area possible! In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, and diamond art.

My name is Mr. Daniel and I have been with Sylvan since October of 2024. I graduated from BYU Idaho with a degree in Biology Education and I have been in the field of education for the past 8 years. I enjoy helping students improve their math skills and make growth! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family!

My name is Ms. Dana and I have been with Sylvan since February of 2025! I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Instructional Curriculum. I have been working in education for the past 24 years and I truly enjoy teaching and learning with students. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my family. Here at Sylvan, I love helping students make learning connections and growth!

I have bee working in education for the past 40+ years and I enjoy seeing students accomplish goals they previously thought were unattainable!
