Your child has what it takes. We’ll help them show it.

Had 2 separate experiences with Naanu and her team. A while back, my son needed some support. So when my daughter needed help with math it was a no brainer to return to Sylvan.

Naanu and her team are wonderful and were truly invested in seeing my son succeed in his academic journey. They were very accommodating with the class schedule and provided flexibility when needed. My son thoroughly enjoyed his time here and saw a significant improvement in his grades!

Excellent tutoring center with a great manager and dedicated teachers. The team is professional, supportive, and creates a friendly learning environment where students feel motivated. My child is always happy to attend. Their flexibility and commitment to students are truly the key to their success.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Naanu and the team at the Port Credit Sylvan Learning Centre. In just a few short months, we’ve seen significant progress in our 7 year old daughter’s skills and, even more importantly, in her confidence. What truly stands out is how excited she is to go to her sessions. She genuinely looks forward to learning, which speaks volumes about the supportive and encouraging environment they’ve created. Naanu takes the time to understand each child’s needs and makes learning engaging and positive. We’re so grateful for the growth we’ve seen already and high…

We enrolled our son at Sylvan Learning (Port Credit) for extra support in Grade 12 Math and Chemistry, and it made a real difference. He was struggling in both subjects and needed help building confidence and consistency. Marwin was an excellent tutor. He connected well with our son right away, explained concepts clearly, and adjusted his approach to match how our son learns. Their sessions were focused and productive, and our son actually felt comfortable asking questions and working through problems. With Marwin’s support, our son improved significantly and started achieving results in both…

My daughter who is in grade 6 started Sylvan this summer 2025. She had been struggling in math all year long. In such a short time, she is thriving and doing expetionally well. Even helping friends with homework. The tutor to student ratio made it easier for her to learn and engage with her tutor. At Sylvan, I learned that I am not just paying for classes. It's the environment, the experience, the culture, the professionsm that comes with it for my child. Personally, this is the best investment I am making for my child. She has come so far and I am at ease knowing she is getting the best afte…

I can’t say enough good things about Sylvan Learning Center. They helped my 6-year-old learn to read when we felt like the school system had left him behind. I don’t have the skill set to teach reading myself, and my son didn’t have the patience to sit with me—there were lots of tantrums. The difference since starting Sylvan has been incredible. Not only is he reading on his own now, but his confidence has grown so much. He’s even stopped acting out in class because he finally feels capable and proud of himself. In what felt like no time, he went from struggling to reading at a level above hi…

Absolutely worth it! My son was struggling and after a few months at Sylvan, I saw a big difference!! We've tried Oxford and it was not making my son improve. Sylvan Learning actually tunes the tutoring for your child and changes the learning as needed. Wonderful tutoring place! 😊

Tutors and Director, Nanu, are knowledgeable and professional. Sylvan Learning of Port Credit is a very useful resource for students and parents. They offer quality services.

My son looks foward to going to class! He has improved his reading and writing skills with the help of the dedicated staff. I’m so happy with my choice to pick Sylvan.

To Whom It May Concern, We are delighted to provide a glowing reference for Sylvan Learning, under the exceptional leadership of Nanu, for their outstanding Math and English coaching program for our son who is in the 9th-grade. Our son has been enrolled in their program since the summer of 2024, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable. Sylvan Learning has transformed our child’s academic journey in both Math and English. Their tailored approach, engaging teaching methods, and unwavering support have led to significant improvements in our child’s confidence and performance. Addit…

I’ve been taking my 2 kids to Sylvan’s for a few months now and I’ve been very happy with their progress. Before choosing Sylvan, I visited several other similar places to have my children assessed and to see what the other places had to offer. Sylvan had the nicest facility (free coffee & water, comfortable couches and work spaces for parents), friendly staff and affordable packages. In addition, they have a token reward system for the kids. Each visit they can earn points and redeem them for small prizes, which keeps the kids engaged. I highly recommend this place :)
