As a Centre Director, Alexia leads the amazing teaching team at Sylvan of West Edmonton, as well as overseeing the operations of the centre. With a Bachelor’s degree in progress, focusing on biological sciences and psychology at Athabasca University, Alexia brings a deep understanding of learning to her role. This allows her to effectively promote a growth mindset and cultivate a fun and effective learning environment, ensuring every student at Sylvan achieves their best.

Ayesha Junaid
Tutor
Ayesha is a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Alberta, pursuing a Bachelor of Science. While her expertise lies in coaching students in mathematics and science subjects, she enjoys teaching the Sylvan programs equally. Ayesha joined Sylvan because she sees teaching as a way to give back to the amazing community of teachers who helped her throughout her educational journey.

Lauren is an instructor at Sylvan Learning dedicated to supporting student growth and achievement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, and is currently pursuing an after-degree in Education. Lauren’s approach focuses on creating personalized learning experiences that help students build confidence, master key skills, and foster a lasting love of learning.
