Arun Jadhav Centre Director | Sylvan Learning of Evanston I believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and every family deserves the right support to help their child achieve their academic goals. For over five years, I have had the privilege of working closely with parents, students, educators, and our local community through Sylvan Learning of Evanston. During this time, I have gained valuable experience understanding the academic challenges families face and helping them find personalized learning solutions that build confidence, strengthen skills, and support long-term success. As Centre Director, I am passionate about making quality education accessible to families. I work closely with parents to understand both their children’s educational needs and their family’s financial goals, helping them explore flexible learning plans that align with their priorities and budgets. Beyond our learning centre, I am committed to building strong relationships with local schools, educators, and community organizations. I believe that when families, educators, and communities work together, we create more opportunities for children to thrive. I am committed to creating a high-quality learning environment where every child receives personalized attention and the support they need to succeed. I am especially proud that Sylvan Learning of Evanston received an award in 2025 recognizing the outstanding quality of our Math and Reading programs. This recognition reflects our team’s dedication to educational excellence, measurable student progress, and helping children build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students grow in confidence, parents feel supported, and families celebrate their children’s academic achievements.

Kavita JadhavCenter Director

Kavita Jadhav Education Director | Sylvan Learning of Evanston I love learning about how people learn. Understanding what sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and helps people reach their full potential has driven my career in education. With over 25 years of experience in education, learning and development, instructional design, and educational leadership, I bring a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences. I hold a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Calgary and am currently pursuing doctoral studies in Learning Sciences at the Werklund School of Education. My research explores how people learn and how technology, collaboration, and personalized learning can support their growth. Throughout my career, I have led educational programs, developed competency-based learning solutions, and worked with educators and industry professionals across Canada. I am also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD). As Education Director at Sylvan Learning of Evanston, I work closely with parents and students to create customized learning paths that reflect each child’s unique strengths, academic needs, and personal goals. I believe that effective learning begins with understanding the individual learner and building a supportive environment where children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. I am especially proud of our team’s commitment to educational excellence, which was recognized with a 2025 award for the outstanding quality of our Math and Reading programs. This achievement reflects our dedication to delivering high-quality instruction, personalized learning experiences, and meaningful academic progress for our students. My greatest joy comes from seeing a child move from “I can’t do this” to “I did it!” That transformation is what inspires me every day.
