Brian Danielson
Center Director
As Center Director Brian leads conferences, financing and oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Snohomish. As former teacher and coach in Snohomish, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Snohomish. He graduated from Washington State University. When Brian isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him golfing, snowboarding, hunting and of course, football.
Cathy Clayton
Tutor, office support, test proctor
Cathy is a tutor in Snohomish, WA with a gift for working with kids. While Cathy has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and math tutoring. She studied at Carroll College. When Cathy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
Gail Brimhall
Tutor
Gail is a tutor in Snohomish, WA with a gift for working with kids. While Gail has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in math and reading tutoring. She studied at Kansas University. When Gail isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her camping, biking, sewing, and hanging out with her grandchildren and her corgi.
Dave VanKooten
Tutor
Dave is a teacher in Marysville, WA with a gift for working with kids. While Dave has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in math and reading tutoring. He studied at Dordt College. When Dave isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him gardening, reading, and watching the Seahawks and Mariners .
Kevin Chaney
Tutor
Kevin is a tutor in Snohomish, WA with a gift for working with kids. While Kevin has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in advanced math tutoring. He studied at the University of Washington. When Kevin isn’t working at Sylvan, you’ll find him playing the ukulele, solving Rubik’s cubes, cooking, and spending time with family.
Andrea McInnis

Andrea McInnis is a tutor in Snohomish, WA with a gift for working with kids. While Andrea has many tutoring talents, She finds the greatest joy in reading, writing, and math tutoring. She studied at Western Washington University. When She isn’t working at Sylvan, you’ll find her babysitting, solving crossword puzzles, and baking.
