Locally owned and operated since 2017.
Since opening in 2017, Sylvan Learning of North Suffolk has helped local students build skills and confidence. Husband-and-wife owners Ethan and Genesis Voight purchased the center in 2025 and have spent the past year preparing it to serve a new generation of families into the next decade and beyond. Together, they renovated the flagship North Suffolk location, expanded staffing and support at the Central Suffolk satellite, and opened a Franklin, Virginia satellite serving Franklin, Southampton, and surrounding communities. Today, their three locations serve nearly 150 students each week, bringing personalized learning and caring support to countless families across the Western Tidewater region.

Tutoring at Sylvan Learning of North Suffolk runs from $47 to $58 per session, depending on how many sessions a week you book and the membership length. The lowest rate is $47 per session at 4 sessions a week on a 12-month minimum membership, and 2 sessions a week month-to-month is $58 per session. There is a one-time registration fee of $199. A single session is $60 per hour with no membership required. Rates are set by this Center.
