Lynne Hudson

Executive Director/Owner

Lynne brings 20+ years of business and customer service experience to the 4 Sylvan Learning locations she owns in Utah. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Lynne has been a leader in a variety of industries including personnel and supplemental education. It is Lynne’s love of education and helping students realize their full potential that led her to Sylvan. When not at our centers, you are likely to find Lynne spending time with family and friends, hiking and enjoying outdoor time in the beautiful state of Utah.

Ally Kaakoush

Center Director

Ally comes to Sylvan with a passion for helping students and families progress in their learning!  She believes that quality teachers make all the difference.  Ally loves traveling, music, and swing dancing, but don’t challenge her to a card game…she will probably win!

Lisa

Director of Education

Lisa oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Orem. A former teacher in Chicago, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Lisa understands that no one learns the same way, and she adapts quickly to the needs of our students. When Lisa isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her gardening, traveling, scrapbooking, collecting antiques and reading about American History.

Olivia

Tutor

Olivia is a certified teacher and loves to build connections with people through academics as well as through interpersonal interactions.  She believes adequate education is crucial in shaping the world.  In her free time she loves music, art, games, and movies!

Ben

Tutor

Ben loves helping others succeed! He has been a tutor for several years and has enjoyed helping others learn and grow. He knows that when students know that you are on their side, they are much more likely to succeed. Some of his favorite things to do are playing board games, basketball, and video games.
