As Center Director, Mr. Alex leads the students and teachers for Sylvan Learning of Cinco Ranch, while engaging with parents and reviewing every student’s success during parent conferences. Mr. Alex chose a career in the tutoring business because he loves being around students and helping them learn new skills and improve in their academic journey. He studied at the University of Texas at Austin and is qualified to teach math and reading for elementary, middle, and high school students including SAT/ACT prep. Mr. Alex is a dedicated educator and experienced tutor with a passion for helping build confidence and achieve academic success. Whether working with students who need extra support or those striving to excel, Mr. Alex creates a supportive, encouraging environment where learning feels achievable and rewarding. Committed to lifelong learning and student growth, Mr. Alex believes that with the right guidance, patience, and strategy, every student can succeed.

Mrs. Julie is a caring and experienced elementary educator who specializes in early literacy and reading development for young learners for 10+ years. Her degree was in English and specifically with a specialization in early childhood education.  With a deep understanding of how children learn to read, Mrs. Julie supports students in building strong foundational skills in phonics, fluency, comprehension, and confidence. Known for a patient, encouraging approach, Mrs. Julie creates engaging, age-appropriate lessons that make reading fun and approachable. By using hands-on activities, games, and positive reinforcement, Mrs. Julie helps students develop a love for books while strengthening the skills they need to succeed in school. Through personalized instruction, Mrs. Julie is committed to helping each child grow at their own pace and feel proud of their progress as a reader.

Ms. Aleily is a dedicated high school mathematics educator with extensive experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, SAT/ ACT math, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus (all core math topics). With a strong background of secondary and advanced math curricula, Ms. Aleily is committed to helping students develop conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and confidence in mathematics. Through structured and methodical instruction, she emphasizes problem-solving strategies, mathematical reasoning, and the application of concepts across topics. She works closely with students to identify learning gaps, reinforce foundational skills, and prepare for advanced coursework, standardized assessments, and college-level expectations. Dedicated to academic excellence and student growth, Ms. Aleily fosters a focused, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically and achieve their full potential.

Ms. Mary is a qualified secondary science educator with experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. With a strong interdisciplinary foundation in the core sciences, she helps students develop scientific literacy, critical thinking skills, and a solid understanding of fundamental scientific principles. Instruction emphasizes conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and the application of complex scientific concepts. Through structured, student-centered instruction, Ms. Mary supports learners at varying levels, reinforcing foundational knowledge while preparing students for advanced coursework, laboratory work, and standardized assessments. Ms. Otto is qualified in mathematics instruction and reading comprehension for elementary and middle school students. With a strong foundation in elementary math curriculum and instructional best practices, Ms. Otto focuses on developing students’ number sense, computational fluency, and problem-solving skills. In addition to mathematics, Ms. Otto integrates reading support as needed to strengthen comprehension of math language and word problems. Committed to academic growth and measurable progress, Ms. Otto works to ensure students build confidence and a strong foundation to receive comprehensive support across core subject areas.
