Kimberly Price

Owner & Center Director

As Owner & Center Director, Kimberly leads operations and community engagement for Sylvan Learning of Westheimer Lakes. She is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve success. Kimberly studied at The University of Texas at Austin and earned her Master’s degree from University of Houston–Victoria. A longtime member of the community, she enjoys staying active and participating in local educational and fitness activities.

Ms. Jasmeet

Instructor

Ms. Jasmeet is a dedicated instructor with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. She has experience providing one-on-one and group tutoring in math and English, supporting students from elementary through high school. Ms. Jasmeet studied at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Friendly and engaging, she enjoys creating a positive learning environment for every student. When she isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her staying active and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Christina

Instructor

Ms. Christina is an certified educator and former Assistant Principal who is passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically. She works with students in math and reading, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Ms. Christina believes that “empowering yourself through education is a gift that lasts a lifetime,” and is committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

Ms. Joy

Instructor

Ms. Joy brings extensive experience helping students develop strong reading, writing, and literacy skills. She has served as a classroom teacher, literacy intervention specialist, and instructional leader, working with students from kindergarten through high school. Ms.Joy is a Texas-certified teacher and holds a Master of Science degree. Joy is passionate about helping every student build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and achieve academic success through personalized instruction.

Ms. Tasnim is a certified English Language Arts and Reading educator with experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students. She has also worked as a reading interventionist, helping students strengthen reading comprehension and writing skills. Ms. Tasnim holds bachelor’s degrees in Secondary English Education and Psychology and brings patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of differentiated instruction to her students.

Ms. Dakota is an experienced educator and Dyslexia Specialist with more than 20 years of experience supporting elementary students. She specializes in reading intervention, phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension, and structured literacy. Ms. Dakota is a Texas-certified teacher and holds a Master of Science degree. She is passionate about helping students overcome reading challenges and become more confident, successful learners.

Dr. Raul

Instructor

Dr. Raul is a Texas-certified Math and Science educator with extensive experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary school through college. He has taught Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, Physics and other advanced math and science courses and has experience preparing students for the SAT and ACT. Dr. Raul earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and brings more than 20 years of Sylvan teaching experience to our center.
