Stephany Zapata

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

As Executive Director, Stephany works closely with the Center Directors to ensure all students get the best education possible. Stephany is a graduate of Baylor University with a Math Major with Secondary Education. Stephany also holds a certification in 8-12 Mathematics. Stephany has over 10 years of experience with supplemental education. When Stephany isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her playing with her kids, cooking and traveling to where the beach is.

Mehgan McGehee

CENTER DIRECTOR

As Center Director, Mehgan leads the team for Sylvan of McKinney.  She brings a strong background in business and a talent for operations management to ensure everything runs smoothly. Known for her organization and leadership, she is dedicated to creating an efficient and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. Her attention to detail and ability to keep things on track make her an invaluable part of the team.  Outside of work, Mehgan enjoys attending live concerts, relaxing at home, and cheering on her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Maddie Jullette

CENTER ADMIN

Maddie brings a background in business and is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing a degree in marketing. With a passion for organization and supporting educational success, she plays a vital role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys discovering new restaurants with her husband, creating special memories with her child through fun adventures, and expressing her creativity through painting. She also values quality time spent with family, which helps keep her grounded and inspired.

Lori Giebel

CERTIFIED TUTOR

Lori is one of our most loved tutors due to her organization and creative thinking that is passed along to the students at Sylvan. She enjoys teaching grades K-5 and has an Early Childhood Education degree from Texas Tech University. Her caring and optimistic personality are what make her a strong tutor.

Brady Rutledge

CERTIFIED TUTOR

Brady has been with Sylvan for a couple of years while working at Centennial High School as a physics teacher. He has a BA in Chemistry through the University of Texas in Dallas and teaches grades K-12. He has a passion for science and builds confidence amongst our students at Sylvan.

Nya Snowden

CERTIFIED TUTOR

Nya holds a degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and brings a warm, student-centered approach to learning. At Sylvan, she specializes in helping students strengthen their understanding of math and reading and build confidence. With a strong belief that learning should be both engaging and empowering, Nya creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. Her background in psychology also helps her connect with students in meaningful ways, understanding how they learn best. Outside of Sylvan, Nya enjoys crocheting and cooking activities that reflect her creativity, patience, and attention to detail.

Shauntae Weather

Tutor

Shauntae is a dedicated educator with a passion for helping students succeed. She teaches 5th grade and brings years of classroom experience to her role as a tutor. With a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Shauntae is skilled at creating engaging, effective learning experiences tailored to each student’s needs. When she’s not teaching, Shauntae enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and watching NFL football.

Maulin Agrawal

Tutor

Maulin is a tutor at Sylvan of McKinney. He holds a BA in Visual / Performing Arts from UTD and currently pursuing an MA in Visual / Performing Arts. Maulin is also working towards a Secondary Teaching Certification. At Sylvan, he enjoys teaching Algebra and English. When not at Sylvan, Maulin enjoys painting, karaoke, yoga, voice acting, and traveling.
