Shanna Miller
Center Director
As Center Director, Shanna facilitates family communication and program management for Sylvan of Celina. A former science teacher for Frisco ISD, Shanna chose a career in the tutoring business because she knows how important having a strong educational foundation is for the future success of our children. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Tech University. When Shanna isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending quality time with her husband and two young daughters.

Debbie Clary
Tutor
Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from New Mexico State University. Prior to Sylvan she taught English and History in Socorro ISD and was a small business owner. She fills her free time connecting with family, reading, and gardening. Debbie believes children are the greatest gifts to families and she is excited to help each student excel through Sylvan’s excellent programs.

Dante Bendezu
Tutor
Dante is currently earning a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at The University of North Texas. He has aspirations of becoming a high school math teacher at Celina High School. Dante is passionate about teaching all math and especially loves algebra. Dante’s teaching philosophy includes finding reliable methods that are just as engaging as they are efficient. In his free time, Dante spends quality time with his family making honey, growing grapes, and collecting eggs from the chickens on their farm.

Kelsey Stephens
Tutor
Kelsey earned a Masters in Education from Hardin Simmons University. She is a certified Special Education teacher and loves helping students at all levels. She grew up in the area and is proud of her North Texas roots!
