Meet Our Team

Renitta is the owner of Sylvan of Baytown and Conroe. She is our Executive Director. She leads operations along with a team of passionate educators dedicated to helping students thrive. She has prior experience with teaching and is certified in Special Education. With her experience and knowledge, she is committed to create personalized learning experiences that inspire students to excel.

Dana De Pau

Director

Dana is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor’s in History and a Master’s in Curriculum Management. She is also a Texas Certified Teacher that has worked for Sylvan. Dana is a kind, motivated, and patient teacher who loves to encourage and engage with students. She enjoys showing students how fun learning can be. In her free time, Dana loves reading and playing with her pets.

Jennifer Chenier

CERTIFIED TEACHER

Jennifer Chenier is a teacher at KIPP Texas in Houston. She received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Southwestern College. Jennifer has a passion for teaching and loves to show her students new, fun, and exciting ways to learn. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and her daughter.

Angela Murray

CERTIFIED TEACHER

Angela Murray is a graduate from Texas A &M with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Angela has a passion to help students reach their full potential. She loves teaching children of all ages and showing them new ways to learn! In her spare time she loves to go to the movies and read.

Audria Courtney

CERTIFIED TEACHER

Audria is a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center of Baytown. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has a strong heart toward children and loves to help out any way she can, anytime she can. Audria goes over and beyond for the children who need a little bit of extra help with their classes. Outside of teaching, she loves to volunteer at church, listen to music, and play basketball.

Annie Robinson has been with Sylvan Learning for two years.  She is a teaching learning coach, and loves to help educators prosper. Annie
loves Sylvan mostly because of the confidence and knowledge instilled in students. Annie is a proud mother and as a family, they love to travel, and spend time together.

Deanna Armstrong

CERTIFIED TEACHER

Deanna graduated with a Master’s degree from Lamar University.  Her master’s degree is in educational leadership. She holds certificates in Early Childhood through 6^th grade and English as a Second Language. It’s easy to see that Deanna loves working with children. She loves to see children learn and meet their full potential. When not at Sylvan, Deanna is involved in activities such as reading, doing brunch, and spending time with family.

Courtney Bryant

Certified Teacher

Courtney Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, in the field of Interdisciplinary Skills, through the University Of Houston Clear Lake. Through her experiences, she found a love for teaching and has gained a teaching certification in 4-8 Generalist. She has developed a particular passion for helping students be self-motivated to succeed and have a love for learning. Courtney is very motivated to reach her goals and help others achieve the same. In her free time, she enjoys theme parks, museums, reading, movies, and the zoo.
