Melanie Bowers
Director
Dr. Bowers is an educational leader with extensive experience helping students achieve success. She owns multiple Sylvan Learning Centers in Columbia, MO, Lee’s Summit, MO, Overland Park, KS, and Lawrence, KS. Melanie is passionate about creating opportunities for students to build confidence and improve academic skills.
Throughout her career, she has worked as a teacher, school counselor, and as a psychological examiner. She is committed to delivering measurable student outcomes while fostering exceptional customer experiences for families.
Outside of her professional career, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and four children (Brant, Brady, Megan, and Mallory).
