Shelby Louk
Center Director
Shelby Louk serves as Center Director of Sylvan Learning St. Paul. As Center Director, she oversees new student enrollment, facilitates scheduling, develops student learning plans, and helps conduct local marketing. Shelby chose a career in the tutoring business after being inspired by her parents, both of whom are educators. She studied at St. Olaf College and has a degree in history. When she’s not at the center, Shelby can be found at a local coffee shop or enjoying the outdoors!
Shelly P.
Lead Teacher
Shelly is a Tutor in Saint Paul, MN with a gift for working with kids. While Shelly has many tutoring talents, She finds the greatest joy in sharing her experiences with the kids and having them share theirs with her, they energize her! When Shelly isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her enjoying writing, photography, gardening, and travel.
James S.
Teacher
James is a teacher in Saint Paul, MN with a gift for working with kids. While James has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in helping with reading, math and ACT prep. He enjoys the student’s creativity and their excitement as they learn new material.
Emmanuel Saye
Senior Area Director
Emmanuel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He finds making a difference in the lives of the youth the most valuable aspect to his role with Sylvan Learning Centers. When he is not working with Sylvan, Emmanuel enjoys spending quality time with his family.
