Center Director
As Center Director, Bruce leads the management and educational planning for Sylvan of Bel Air, MD. A former center director at another tutoring franchise organization, Bruce chose a career in the tutoring business because it brings him pleasure to see children match and exceed their potential for learning. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. When Bruce isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him spending with his wife and 3 children, hiking, reading and (attempting) to garden.
Hope R.
Sylvan Certified Tutor
Hope works at a local bakery decorating cakes and other sweet treats. Along with baking, she has a gift for working with kids of all ages. Hope has many tutoring talents and finds the greatest joy in tutoring English. She studied at Towson University. When Hope isn’t at Sylvan, you can find her writing, baking, reading, or playing video games!
