Center Director
As Center Director, Anne Marie leads operations for Sylvan of Houma . A former mathematician, Anne Marie choose a career in the tutoring business because she wanted to help students and see growth and success with them . She studied at Louisiana State University. She loves tutoring students in Advanced Math as well as college math classes, such as statistics and calculus. When Anne Marie isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading, shopping, and sitting at dancing or sporting games with her kids.
Tonya Dufrene
Assisstant Director
Tonya is a tutor in Houma, LA, with a gift for working with kids. While Tonya has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading tutoring. She studied at Nicholls State University. When Tonya isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her in Bourg: reading, traveling, shopping, bicycling, exercising, or fishing.
