Director
Keeley Kyriazes has over 10 years of experience in Special Education and also has advanced degrees in Education, English, and Communications & Digital Media. When Keeley isn’t at Sylvan you’ll find her playing with her dog, Mr. Darcy, visiting a national park, or belting it out at karaoke.

Patrick Augustine
Tutor and Operations Assistant
Patrick is an academic and standardized testing tutor in Chicago with a gift for college exam preparation. While Patrick has many tutoring talents, Patrick finds the greatest joy in helping his students gain skills and confidence heading into the SAT and ACT. He studied at the University of Chicago and Ashland University. When Patrick isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him reading or playing video games on the couch next to his cat, Winona.

Tom French
Tutor
Tom is a retired teacher from Chicago, IL with a gift for working with kids. While Tom has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in reading and language arts tutoring. He studied at Northeastern Illinois University. When Tom isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him reading historical fiction, bike riding, and fishing.

Jeremy Hamburger
Substitute Tutor
Jeremy is a teacher in Glenview, IL who is passionate about helping any student succeed. While Jeremy is an excellent tutor in any subject area, he finds the greatest joy in tutoring mathematics. He studied at the University of Illinois. When Jeremy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll usually find him studying for his Master’s, going on walks, reading, and spending time with friends.

Jonathan Yenkin
Tutor
Jonathan is a tutor in Glenview and enjoys working with kids to boost their learning. He has an M.Ed. with a focus on elementary education, and he previously worked as an assistant teacher in elementary schools. When Jonathan isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him exploring Chicago neighborhoods and looking for great ethnic restaurants.

Aidan Rigg
Tutor
Aidan is a tutor in Glenview, IL who enjoys helping students reach their academic potential. While Aidan is proficient in multiple subjects, he finds the most joy in tutoring students in reading and writing. He studied at DePaul University. When Aidan isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him playing the electric guitar, watching live music, or reading history.

Andrea Davenport
Substitute Tutor
Andrea is a tutor in Glenview, IL with a gift for working with kids. While Andrea has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in math tutoring. She studied English education at Trine University in Angola, IN, and is a licensed high school English and Math teacher. When Andrea isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading a romance novel, writing her own book, or subbing in her local high school districts.
Bridget Porter
Tutor
Bridget is a Special Education Teacher in Palatine, IL with a gift for working with kids. While Bridget has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in literacy tutoring. She studied at Carthage College (undergrad) and Northeastern Illinois University (grad). When Bridget isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her running and cooking!
Mary LaMont
Tutor
Mary LaMont is a retired high school teacher from Wheeling, IL who loves working with kids. While Mary has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in writing and reading tutoring. She studied at the University of Notre Dame and Catholic Theological Union. When she isn’t at Sylvan, you will find her tutoring immigrants in a local ESL program, writing screenplays, and singing in a choir.
