Ms. Jacque Wilson

Executive Managing & Education Director

Ms. Jacque Wilson is a certified teacher and administrator with over 35 years of educational experience. She has taught kindergarten-second grade. Ms. Jacque received her bachelor’s degree in education from California State University Bakersfield. She received a masters degree in reading from Boise State. She has an Educational Specialist degree in administration from the University of Idaho. Teaching reading is her passion. Ms. Jacque has lived in Idaho for 36 years. She enjoys reading, running, pickleball and spending time with her six year old grandson, Milo.

Amber Maggio

Ms. Amber Maggio

Managing Director

Ms. Amber Maggio is the Managing Director for Sylvan Learning and Class101 Centers of Idaho. Ms. Maggio is a state certified teacher with more than seven years of experience and has worked with students from K through 12 as well as adult students. She is passionate about helping students develop study skills, build confidence, and enhance critical thinking. Ms. Maggio also advised her peers finding scholarships, selecting schools & programs, and managing schedules to meet graduation requirements prior to and during their higher education.

Ms. Maggio holds a B.A. in History from the University of Providence-Great Falls, an M.A. in Ancient History from Indiana University-Bloomington, and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University.
A native of Nampa, ID, Ms. Maggio returned to the Treasure Valley in 2021 and enjoys reading, writing, drawing, playing video games, and spending time with her husband and two cats.

Ms. Terrie Cornetta

Educational Lead

Terrie is originally from Central Chicago and has decades of experience in working and educating children of all ages. At age 15, she found her vocation for working with children when she started working as a swimming instructor. Since then thousands of kids have learned swimming under her tutelage and many competed in the Junior Olympics. She has a BS in Business Administration and MS in Education along with teaching credentials from Illinois and California. She has taught children of all grade levels including Special needs kids. Terrie has a happy family of 5 children and 3 grand-children.

In her spare time, she loves to swim, lift weights, and occasionally, hop on her bike for a good long ride!

Mr. Kody Andrew

Lead Teacher

Mr. Kody is a certified teacher with 3+ years of teaching experience. He has taught students in grades 1 through 12. He is a graduate of Boise State University with a bachelors in multidisciplinary studies. Mr. Kody has also helped children of many ages by umpiring football, baseball, and basketball recreation leagues for many years.

Mr. Kody was born and raised in Idaho. He enjoys cooking, golfing, and attending sporting and musical events with friends and family. Not much of a winter person, but during the summer the only time you’ll see Mr. Kody indoors is for work.

Mr. Anthony (Tony) Marini

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Mr. Anthony (Tony – Coach T) Marini belongs to a family of educators. He has been a Sylvan Teacher for the past 15 years in Texas and recently moved to the Treasure Valley. He was born in Caldwell and most of his family lives in the Treasure Valley. He received his BA in Mathematics and Teaching Certificate from the North Park University in Chicago He has Coached and taught in the Chicago area for 25 years in several different schools and is an expert in teaching all types of learners and behaviors.

He was a Guest Teacher in San Antonio for 8 years and is now continuing his career as the Guest Teacher in the West Ada County School District to all ages and subjects. His specialty is teaching Special Education students to overcome and cope with their unique learning abilities. When he was younger, he started tutoring & helping his classmates in Junior HS and have been tutoring young adults ever since especially in after school Tutoring programs. Teaching, Coaching, Mentoring, Tutoring, and Learning are his passion. He feels content to observe his students grow and achieve their learning goals!!

Ms. Celeste Hansen

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Ms. Celeste is a certified teacher with 6+ years of experience in education. She has taught middle school and teaches high school Health, PE, American Government, and some electives. She received a bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University in Political Science. After graduating, she contemplated her next to volunteer as a reading interventionist at an elementary school. She then realized her passion for teacher and reenrolled at ISU for her teaching certificate.

Some of Ms. Celeste’s hobbies include reading, Legos, exercising, volleyball, and outdoor activities—especially when the weather is favorable: biking, hiking, paddleboarding, and running 5K races!

Ms. Elizabeth Koisch

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Ms. Elizabeth is a Certified Teacher in multiple states. She grew up in Alabama on 30 acres and lived in the state of Washington for 20 years before moving to Boise in 2023. She completed her Undergraduate Degree from Samford University in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She knew at an early age that she wanted to be a teacher and has pursued her passion for over two decades in various settings. Ms. Elizabeth has taught in both brick and mortar and virtual settings from grades kindergarten to third grade. Along with being a classroom teacher, Ms. Elizabeth has also tutored multiple students over the years to help them find academic success in reading and math. She also homeschooled her twin sons during their junior high school years.

When not teaching or tutoring, Ms. Elizabeth loves watching British Premier League and MLS soccer and cheering on the Boise State Broncos. She loves spending time with her husband, twin adult sons and two mini Australian Shepherds, Roo and Artie.

Ms. Jennifer Houser

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Ms Houser was born and raised in New England. She graduated college with a Masters in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has taught students of all ages K-12. She has lived and worked in a variety of places across the United States.

When not working, she enjoys time with her family as well as the great outdoors, hiking, swimming, and gardening.

Ms. Kimberlin Wilson

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Ms. Kimberly Wilson is a certified Special Education teacher with over three years of experience from the West Ada School District, where she taught students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Prior to her classroom experience, she served as a reading interventionist at Peregrine Elementary, supporting students in developing strong literacy skills. Ms. Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Boise State University. She is deeply passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential and believes in meeting each student where they are to support meaningful growth.

Born and raised in Idaho, Ms. Kimberly is also a proud mother to her eight-year-old son, Milo, who is her pride and joy. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, cooking, and spending time with her new puppy, Lucy.

Ms. Nancy Wylder

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Ms. Nancy Wylder is a certified teacher with 6+ years of experience in education. She has taught a variety of grade levels and subjects from History, Foreign Language, Interventions, and Mathematics. She has spent the majority of her teaching time working at middle schools within the Treasure Valley. She received a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University.

Ms. Nancy has lived in several states including Arizona, Northern California, Wyoming. She grew up in North Dakota where her love of winter weather comes from. She moved to Boise in 2016 with her son Denali so that she could spend more time with family who had settled here.

When she’s not teaching, she enjoys hiking with her Golden Retriever, spending time with her son, reading as many books as possible, and playing cribbage.

Ms. Tasha Lyon

Certified Sylvan Teacher

Ms. Tasha was born on the Pacific Coast and traveled many states across the county with her military family. She graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She worked in many teaching roles throughout a preschool in the North End and in all grade levels at Boise School District.

Ms. Tasha has been working as a substitute teacher in the Kuna School District since last year. Tasha has had more than 5 years in various teaching positions that have helped her diverse her teaching skills. In her free time, Tasha enjoys riding her bike, and being a lifelong learner while encouraging others as well.
