Sharon Stephens
Owner
Sharon is the owner of Sylvan Learning of Canton, Georgia. Sharon has been involved with Sylvan Learning for over 20 years as a parent and grandparent. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Concentration in Organizational Leadership. Sharon has a passion for being of service to others and truly believes knowledge is power. Her main goal is to create a learning environment through Sylvan that will allow the students and their families to grow. Sharon enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Krista Eldredge
Center Director
Krista has worked for Sylvan since 2017 and is Sylvan certified in all the programs we offer. Before coming to Sylvan, she enjoyed twelve years of teaching history and other social studies courses to high school students, during which she twice earned a place in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. Krista received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Piedmont College. She went on to earn her Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Piedmont as well, with a concentration in Broad Field Social Studies. She enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Ashley Mayo
Instructor
Ashley has been a Special Education teacher in Cherokee County for the last 30 years. She is now retired and works for the county part time in Kindergarten. She studied at Auburn University. When she is not at school or tutoring at Sylvan, you can find her playing with her dogs.
Lori Moles
Instructor
Lori is an instructor in Canton, GA. She has 25 years of teaching experience in various grades and subject matter. When Lori is not at Sylvan, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
