Ana McCoskey

Center Director

Director

As Center Director, Ana leads everyday operations at Sylvan of Oviedo. A former Marketing Manager for Nestle Purina, Ana chose a career in the tutoring business because she believes in the power of education. She is passionate to see kids rediscover their love for learning and raise confidence. She holds an MBA, from John Brown University. When Ana isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family and friends, doing some puzzles, or playing board games.

Jason McCoskey

Marketing, Finance, & Operations Support

As a franchise co-owner, Jason heads up Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and Operations Support. He has a dual degree in marketing and international business and comes to the arena with corporate experience in both marketing and project management. In addition to business, he absolutely loves helping kids reach their potential! Building their academic confidence and increasing their skills. When outside of Sylvan, he loves to read books for fun, spend time with family, and watch a favorite show on a streaming service!

Deborah Coleman

Education Manager

Mrs. Deborah Colman has been a teacher in the Seminole County Public Schools since 2016. She earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from UCF. She has taught and tutored students ranging from K-8 in both school and private settings. When Deborah is not at Sylvan, she loves to spend time with her family, working out, reading, and eating good food.

Isabella Reimer

Teacher

Ms. Isabella Reimer has a BA in English and Women’s studies from Florida State University. Graduated Magna Cum Laude, and is currently studying her Masters in Literary, Cultural, and Textual Studies. Her ultimate dream is to be a professor teaching at the collegiate level. She impacts Sylvan students in positive ways, especially by being patient, kind, and encouraging. Outside of Sylvan, you may find her at Barnes & Noble, reading a good book, or writing her own stories.

Gianna Johnson

Teacher

Ms. Gianna Johnson  is a Chemical Engineering student at UCF. She is passionate about teaching in all areas and loves to help kids see learning in a new and exciting way rather than just trying to memorize information. Outside of Sylvan, you may find her at TJ Maxx or Disney Springs!

Hannah Vasquez

Teacher

Hannah is currently a Communication Sciences and Disorders major at UCF and is working towards her Masters in Speech-Language pathology. After completing school, she aspires to work with kids in pediatric speech-language pathology. Hannah is passionate about making learning fun and engaging for all children. Outside of Sylvan, you can find her reading or at a local coffee shop!

Emily Mayo

Teacher

Emily is working towards her BA in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in water treatment for underserved communities. Her dream is to work for the Indian Health Service (IHS) to better the lives of US indigenous groups. At Sylvan, she understands and works to ease frustration and boost academic confidence for all her students. Outside of Sylvan, you can find her watching movies, enjoying Universal, or spending time with friends and family.

Matt Dain

Teacher

Matt Dain is currently studying Photonic Sciences and Engineering at the University of Central Florida. His ultimate goal is to work with NASA on advanced telescope systems, contributing to the exploration and understanding of our universe.
At Sylvan, Matt impacts students in positive ways through his patient, encouraging, and structured approach to learning. He is passionate about helping students build confidence while developing strong problem-solving skills. Outside of Sylvan, you can find Matt watching movies, competing in intramural sports, or cheering on the New Orleans Saints.
