Our tutors and staff in Dr Phillips consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Dr Phillips know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores. We selectively choose tutors who know local curriculum and can link Sylvan lessons to what’s being taught in school.

Sarah
Executive Director
As Executive Director, Sarah oversees Indiana centers in Mishawaka, Elkhart, Merrillville, Schererville, Valparaiso, Fishers, Carmel, West Indianapolis, South Indianapolis, Fort Wayne North, and Fort Wayne South, and four Florida centers in Clermont, Ocoee, Dr. Phillips and Kissimmee. She thoroughly enjoys working with all of the students and their families. Sarah studied at Cedarville University. When Sarah isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and her two beautiful daughters.
Caitlin
Regional Director
As the Florida Regional Director, Caitlin oversees the centers in Clermont, Dr. Phillips, Kissimmee, and Ocoee. She has been with Sylvan for over 10 years and loves all aspects, from working with students to meeting with parents and assisting directors. Caitlin graduated from Saint Mary’s College. When she is not at Sylvan, she is at home playing with her son, chasing after her dog, or baking in the kitchen!
Jordan
Center Director
Jordan, the center Director for Sylvan Learning of Dr. Phillips, is a graduate of Hampton University. A transplant from the Washington D.C. area, she relocated to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and begin her career in Education. She enjoys working with kids at all levels and is thrilled to be a part of Sylvan. When she is not at Sylvan, She spends her time cooking, watching movies, walking trails with her 2 dogs, and enjoying the beautiful Florida springs.
Jenna
Center Director - Student Advancement
Originally from upstate New York, Jenna relocated to Florida for college. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Southern Florida College. She enjoys working with kids and is very excited to build student programs and help with all the learning needs of families in the Dr. Phillips area. When she is not at Sylvan, she is home cuddling with her chihuahua Toro, or reading a book!”
Guillermo
Tutor
Guillermo is a math and reading instructor at the Sylvan of Dr. Phillips with a gift for working with kids. While Guillermo has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in mathematics tutoring. He studied at Texas A&M University, Texas State University, and the University of Central Florida. When Guillermo isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him listening to all types of music and following football, including the Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Aggies.
Jordan
Tutor
Jordan is an SAT prep tutor in Orlando, FL with a gift for working with kids. While Jordan has many tutoring talents, she finds that math brings her the greatest joy while tutoring. She studied at the University of Central Florida. When Jordan is not at Sylvan, you can find her with her cat, making art, talking to friends/family, or playing video games.
