Our tutors and staff in Apopka consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Apopka know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores. We selectively choose tutors who know local curriculum and can link Sylvan lessons to what’s being taught in school.

Megan
Director
Megan began her career with Sylvan over two decades ago in Michigan, after earner her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University. Moving to Central Florida in 2005, she has taught nearly all grades and subjects while earning her masters degree in Science and Mathematics Education at the University of Central Florida. When she’s not developing education plans for families in the center, she might be hiking with her dogs, reading a good book, or cooking something new.
Janae
Teacher
Janae has years of experience as an elementary educator in Central Florida. She earned her bachelors degree at the University of Central Florida and remains an avid Knights fan! When she’s not bringing a love of learning to students in center, you can find her enjoying a football game, touring local eateries, cuddling with her dogs, or enjoying our beautiful lakes by boat.
Madison
Teacher
Madison earned her undergraduate degree from Florida University University and is currently working on becoming a Physician’s Assistant. Her medical knowledge makes her a fantastic resource for students studying for the BACE! When she’s not sharing her wealth of knowledge in all subject areas, you can find her running half marathons and losing herself in literature.
