Meredith Lee

Director
Meredith has been with Sylvan since 2008. She holds a BA in Child Development from California State University – Sacramento and has a CA multi-subject clear teaching credential with an emphasis in multi-cultural planning. Meredith has extensive training in working with moderate/severe special needs and has held multiple credentials in that area.. Meredith loves living in Colorado and visiting her Sylvan friends in Canada.
Sean Rector
Teacher
Sean is a teacher in Broomfield, CO with a gift for working with kids. While Sean has many talents, he finds the greatest joy in reading and literacy tutoring. He studied at MSU Denver. When Sean isn’t at Sylvan you’ll find him watching basketball
Joanna Van Esson
Teacher
Joanna is the School Support Coach in Broomfield, CO with a gift for working with kids. She enjoys helping students with their virtual school and lessons. Joanna finds great joy in connecting with students and finding ways to relate with them. When Joanna is not at Sylvan, you will find her hiking mountain trails with her dogs and enjoying the beauty of Colorado. Family is especially important to Joanna and they send a weekly family game night learning new games and playing old favorites.
Lora Fulton
Teacher
Lora is an instructor in Broomfield, CO with a gift for working with kids. While Lora has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and language arts tutoring. When Lora isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family and volunteering around town.
Sara Loyd
Teacher
Sara is a teacher in Westminster, CO with a gift for working with kids. While Sara has many tutoring talents, she find the greatest joy in working in reading tutoring. She studied at Central Methodist University. When Sara isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Justyn Bunkley
Teacher
Justyn is a math teacher in Westminster, CO with a gift for working with kids. While Justyn has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in upper math tutoring. He studied at University of Colorado, Boulder. When Justyn isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him playing ultimate frisbee and being with friends.
Andrea DeCrescentis
Director of Education
Andrea assists in overseeing the educational side of our programs in Broomfield, CO. A former Director of Education in Merriville, IN, she brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Broomfield. She graduated from Marantha Batptist Bible College. When Andrea isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her daughter and writing poetry.
Amber and Allen Peoples

Allen and Amber Peoples are passionate about education. Their mission is to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment where children can thrive. Allen has a background in education and math; Amber has a background in HR and accounting. They are both dedicated to help each child succeed in their academic journey and support the amazing team of tutors.
Maddy Benham
Teacher
Maddy is a tutor in Broomfield, CO with a gift for working with kids. While Maddy has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and literature tutoring. She studied at the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a Master’s Degree in English. When Maddy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading a book or swimming laps at the pool.
