Meet Our Team

Mishon is the Executive Director and Owner of Sylvan Learning in Littleton. She has been in the field of education for 25 years! After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2002, Mishon taught high school science for a couple years in Elbert County then switched focus to early childhood education and taught preschool for 13 years after that. After being introduced to Sylvan a couple years ago, she has become a true convert to the effect of a comprehensive, adaptive curriculum that is Sylvan Sync. Mishon’s true passion is literacy and helping students develop confidence.

When she is not at Sylvan, she loves her roles as wife and mother. Mishon has 3 kids (one in elementary, one in middle, and one in high school) and 3 dogs. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and writing in her spare time.

Aryn Faewood

Teacher

Aryn (he/they) has been a teacher with Sylvan for three years. They teach reading, writing, and math and help kids with homework. Aryn has been a caregiver to children for several years and was a high school ELA tutor for almost a year. They have also helped foster creativity and learning through the Destination Imagination program for several years as a chaperone and as an appraiser. Aryn graduated college in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and minors in Leadership Studies, Psychology, and Philosophy, but recently found a love for teaching. They hope to enrich children’s lives with laughter, empathy, imagination, and learning.

When not at Sylvan, you can find Aryn spending all their free time playing Dungeons and Dragons and creating entire worlds for others to explore.

Hannah Rossiter

Teacher

Hannah (she/her) teaches reading and math while at Sylvan. Before joining the team at Sylvan Learning of Littleton, she was a preschool teacher in college and then became a classroom teacher for 10 years. Hannah holds both a bachelors and a masters degree in education and is currently enrolled in a doctorate program as well! Hannah chose to bring her knowledge and expertise to Sylvan because of her belief in our programs and structure.

Outside of her extensive educational background, Hannah is a Navy Veteran with two children. Her love of learning is apparent when she helps students get their “light bulb moment” as well as through her dedication to helping all students reach their goals.
