Venetya (ve-NEE-sha) Evans
Director
Venetya earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA in French Literature after spending a year studying in France with the UCLA Education Abroad Program. Her professional background is in Information Technology, where she forged a career lasting three decades, mostly on skills that were self-taught. Her passion for education started as a young mom of two when she took time off to spend a day in the classrooms of her children. Seeing the impact of teachers who love to teach on the children left a profound impression. She decided then that a Learning Center would be a worthy pursuit. Decades later, retired, Venetya picked up where she left off all those years ago as a Sylvan Franchise Owner and Center Director where she is excited to serve the families of Simi Valley and Moorpark.

Lisa P. is an experienced educator of over 25 years. She has worked in public schools and private schools with ages K-5th grade. She has a passion for helping students obtain the highest goals as well as growing their self esteem along the way. Lisa Padilla does this with love and compassion and understanding of most students as well as making the process fun and engaging. She looks forward to working with your child and to make learning fun and rewarding! When she is not teaching she loves the beach as well as going on game shows when possible and attending concerts as well as traveling and working with a foster organization. She has two grown daughters who are the apple of her eye as well as a husband of over 33 years.
