Summer Camp 2026: Reading, Creativity & Fun

Give your child a summer experience that combines literacy, imagination, and hands-on creativity. This unique partnership between Sylvan Learning and Wet Paint Pottery brings together engaging reading activities and artistic exploration for a week filled with learning and fun.

Morning Session: Reading Edge

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Help your child strengthen their reading skills while discovering the joy of learning.

During Reading Edge, students will participate in interactive activities designed to improve literacy skills through:

• Dramatic readings
• Creative storytelling
• Educational games
• Reading comprehension activities
• Crafts and hands-on projects
• Group participation and collaboration

This engaging program helps students build confidence as readers while making learning exciting and memorable.

Afternoon Session: Wet Paint Pottery

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Spark your child’s creativity through the world of pottery and art.

Campers will explore a variety of artistic styles and techniques while creating and painting their own pottery pieces. All materials are provided by Wet Paint Pottery, making it easy for children to focus on creativity and self-expression.

Participants will:

• Design their own pottery projects
• Learn painting techniques
• Explore artistic creativity
• Develop fine motor skills
• Build confidence through hands-on creation
• Take pride in creating something uniquely their own

Every child leaves with new skills, lasting memories, and their own artistic creations.
