Looking for a summer camp that combines creativity, learning, and physical adventure?
This August, Sylvan Learning Saskatoon and Grip It Climbing are partnering to offer a unique full-day camp experience that helps students strengthen their writing skills while building confidence through climbing and outdoor-inspired adventures.
Designed for students in Grades 3–8, this one-week camp encourages creativity, problem-solving, perseverance, and personal growth both in the classroom and on the climbing wall.
Morning Session: Creative Writing
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Presented by Sylvan Learning Saskatoon
Students will strengthen their writing skills through guided instruction, creative exercises, and engaging activities designed to make writing enjoyable and rewarding.
Campers will focus on:
- Organizing ideas clearly
- Expanding vocabulary
- Creative storytelling
- Developing engaging characters and plots
- Building confidence in written communication
- Strengthening grammar and writing mechanics
Throughout the week, students will learn how to craft detailed and engaging stories while developing confidence in their ability to express ideas creatively.
Afternoon Session: Summer Adventure
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Presented by Grip It Climbing
After a morning of creativity, campers will head to Grip It Climbing for an exciting afternoon filled with climbing, challenges, and adventure.
Participants will:
- Learn climbing fundamentals
- Build strength and coordination
- Develop problem-solving skills
- Improve confidence and resilience
- Participate in team-based activities
- Explore challenges in a safe and supportive environment
- Make new friends and create lasting memories
Grip It’s Summer Adventure Camp is designed to help children challenge themselves while developing social skills, self-confidence, and a love for active exploration.
