Meet Our Team

As the Centre Director, Darcia manages customer service, sales and operations for Sylvan Learning of Prince George.
As the Director of Education, Darcia oversees managing our team of tutors.
Darcia enjoys her career at Sylvan because she knows the importance of the balance between individualized instruction and independent learning.  She sees the difference Sylvan makes in her students lives.
When Darcia is not at Sylvan,  you’ll find her spending time with her family, walking her dog Max, or working in her garden.

Sydney is a student at the University of Northern British Columbia in the final year of her BSc Biology.  Upon completing her BSc, Sydney plans to pursue her BEd to fulfill her life-long dream of being an educator.  Being born and raised in Northern BC, Sydney has a passion for providing accessible education to students in the North.
At Sylvan, Sydney teaches all subjects, K-12, but specializes in senior math and science.
When Sydney isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her curled up with a book, walking her dogs, or spending time with friends and family.

Mitchell is a tutor at Sylvan who enjoys helping students of all ages.  Working primarily with our math and homework support students Mitchell is a valuable asset to the Sylvan Prince George team!

Pat is a great part of our team who works with students of all ages in reading, math, writing, study skills and homework support programs. Pat has been employed at Sylvan for years and has been an incredibly valuable asset to the Sylvan Prince George team!

Rebecca is a wonderful instructor who enjoys working primarily works with our reading, math and robotics students.  Rebecca is an incredible asset to the Sylvan team!

Liam is a warm and friendly instructor who works regularly with our robotics and coding students.  Liam provides a welcoming and energetic energy to the Sylvan team!

Connor is a wonderful math and homework support instructor often bringing new and exciting ideas to the team at Sylvan!

Mona is a patient, kind and supportive part of the Sylvan team!  Mona teaches the reading, writing and math programs and is a wonderful part of Sylvan Prince George.

Jeana is a kind and gentle instructor at Sylvan Prince George.  She develops strong academic rapports with the students in math, reading and writing allowing each of the students to work hard and demonstrate their strengths.

Ackwinder is a wonderful asset to the Sylvan of Prince George team!  Ackwinder is kind, compassionate, empathetic and supportive of the students she works with. She teaches math, reading, writing and homework support.

Whitney is a wonderful asset to the Sylvan team!  Whitney provides administrative support to the Sylvan staff and brings new and innovative ideas to the team on a regular basis.

Mateya is a friendly and warm instructor at Sylvan who teaches math, reading, homework support and reading.  With a background in French, Mateya is exceptionally helpful in assisting on those tricky French immersion questions!
