Early Elementary:
- How is this school going to be year different than last year?
- What are you most excited to learn this year? Why?
- What is your favorite thing about being in your grade?
Elementary:
- Why do you think it is important for kids to go to school?
- What is your favorite part of the school day? Why?
- If you were in charge of your school, what is one change you would make? How would that change help students?
Middle School:
- What do you hope to accomplish this school year? List three goals you have for yourself.
- What qualities make a good student?
- How can you study better this year?
- How do you feel about homework? Write an argument explaining why there should be more/less homework.
High School:
- What was your greatest success last year? How can you build on that success this year?
- What were your greatest challenges over the past year? How can you overcome those challenges moving forward?
- What is the most effective way to study? How does this strategy help you?
- How can this school year prepare you for your future?
