## 1st Grade Measurement

With our 1st grade math tutoring, your child will learn how to:

• Determine more capacity or less capacity

## 2nd Grade Measurement

With our 2nd grade math tutoring, your child will learn how to estimate and measure:

• Length using centimeters and inches
• Capacity using liters, cups and pints
• Temperature in degrees Fahrenheit

## 3rd Grade Measurement

With our 3rd grade math tutoring, your child will learn how to estimate and measure:

• Length to the nearest millimeter, centimeter, meter, inch, foot or yard
• Weight to the nearest gram, kilogram, ounce or pound
• Capacity to the nearest liter, cup, pint, quart or gallon

Your child will also learn how to select the appropriate metric and customary unit to measure an object or distance.

## 4th Grade Measurement

With our 4th grade math help, will learn how to estimate and measure:

• The length and weight of an object to the nearest metric and customary measure
• The capacity of a container using metric and customary measure

Your child also will learn how to read a Fahrenheit or Celsius thermometer to the nearest degree.

## 5th Grade Measurement

With our 5th grade math tutoring, your child will learn how to perform conversions between:

• Linear metric units, including related addition or subtraction problems
• Metric units of capacity, including related addition or subtraction problems
• Metric units of mass
• Customary linear units, units of capacity, and units of mass

Your child will also select the appropriate unit of measure for length, area, and mass.
